Aaaaahhhhh……Mexico. Earlier this month, Tim and I spent an amazing 4 days in Cabo San Lucas with our good friends; Jenn and Gray. It was the first vacation we have taken post baby (yes we did get away to Vegas for a fun long weekend last May but this is a VACATION). We’ve been to this resort (Hacienda Del Mar) two other times and I really can’t imagine going anywhere else. It’s gorgeous…..

Each day we had breakfast right here. The yummy breakfast below was lots of greens and fresh fruits and veggies.
….happy hour always started just a few hours later. 🙂 This is where we spent as much time as possible. 80 degrees, sunshine and a drink in
hand. I did have a little bit of a difficult time unwinding since I just started a new job (and there is plenty of work to be done) but I managed to chill out after a day or so.
While we were doing a whole lot of nothing – Drew was having the time of his life at home with Grammy and Grandpa Greulich – AND of course Sable! Drew formed quite a bond with Sable while we were gone. We facetimed with Drew each day and he clearly was not missing us much.
New Christmas toys were assembled while we were gone…..
And even though he isn’t smiling here, I know he enjoyed mealtime.
Back to Mexico. We went on a sunset cruise one night.
Unfortunately this was the one time we ended up with clouds and not much of a sunset.
BUT – I’ll never forget what we did end up seeing – two whales! A huge mother and her baby were playing in the water so close to us for a good 20 minutes. We tried so hard to get a good picture (tons of jumping out of the water) but it just didn’t work out. It was amazing though.
A few more pictures of beautiful Cabo before we left on Monday, MLK day.
